Ratings of PSG players against Leipzig
Gianluigi Donnarumma - 7/10
The PSG custodian saved Silva's penalty, but had no such luck with Szoboszlai's penalty for Leipzig..
Achraf Hakimi - 6/10
The Moroccan was all over the place at the back, and didn't conjure anything meaningful going forward either.
Marquinhos - 5.5/10
The ever-reliable PSG defender was in complete shambles during the opening exchanges. He did manage to bag an assist for Wijnaldum's second goal, though.
Presnel Kimpembe - 4/10
He was harried by Nkunku on the night, and made some clumsy challenges too which earned him a booking. Kimpembe conceded the stoppage-time penalty with another silly foul.
Nuno Mendes - 5/10
A rising star, Mendes, too, was disappointing on the night, as he failed to track Nkunku, and didn't many any impact offensively either.
Georginio Wijnaldum - 8.5/10
The former Liverpool midfielder struck twice to become PSG's unlikely hero of the evening. He's finally turning a corner in PSG colours.
Danilo Pereira - 4/10
He conceded the first Leipzig penalty, and was completely run over in midfield by their marauding forwards.
Idrissa Gueye - 5/10
A total no-show, but Gueye was lucky that players around him were far worse.
Angel Di Maria - 6/10
He gave the ball away under pressure that eventually resulted in Leipzig's opener. The PSG winger was generally quiet in attack too.
Kylian Mbappe - 5/10
The 22-year-old was at the receiving end of many chances on the night, but failed to bury any of them. Mbappe, though, bagged an assist.
Neymar - 7/10
Amid all the chaos, Neymar's performance went off the radar. But he was a lively attacking presence for PSG, dangerous on and off the ball and creating many chances.
Ratings of PSG substitutes against Leipzig
Julian Draxler - 4/10
In 12 minutes of action, he failed to make a single touch on the ball.
Ander Herrera - 4/10
He came on at the same time as Draxler. But his only highlight was a yellow card for remonstrating with the referee.
Mauro Icardi - N/A
PSG were leading when he came on. But he couldn't do anything about the penalty that earned Leipzig a point on the night.
