Central midfielder: Marquinhos (PSG)
After the departure of Thiago Silva, the PSG captain's armband was transferred to Marquinhos, who has led by example with his leadership qualities.
A centre-back by trade, Marquinhos was moved to central midfield by Tuchel last season, where he has excelled with his passing range, technical abilities and elegance on the ball.
Central midfielder: Marcel Sabitzer (RB Leipzig)
Even though he's been around for a long time, Marcel Sabitzer truly shot himself to stardom last season courtesy his performances with Leipzig in the Champions League.
He scored a brilliant goal against Zenit St.Petersburg and was also key in the comprehensive win over Tottenham Hotspur. A goalscoring midfielder with impressive set-piece prowess, the Austrian has had a career out of swinging inch-perfect deliveries.
Attacking midfielder: Daniel Olmo (RB Leipzig)
Another young Spaniard who has quickly risen to the fore, Daneil Olmo signed for Leipzig in January from Dinamo Zagreb and has proved to be a bang for the buck ever since.
Olmo, whose creative ability has helped attacking stars ahead of him flourish, works really hard off the ball too. A graduate of Barcelona's famed La Masia academy, the 21-year old has four assists to his name this season and could give PSG's defence a serious run for its money.
