#2 Moment of madness between Corentin Tolisso and Sven Ulreich
Filling Manuel Neuer's shoes was always going to be a task tougher than most, and while Sven Ulreich may have helped Bayern Munich to their record sixth consecutive Bundesliga title this season, his true test was undoubtedly going to present itself in the game against Real Madrid.
In what was, perhaps, one of the biggest games of his career, Ulreich would've loved nothing more than a fairytale at the Santiago Bernabeu, but unfortunately for the German, it turned out to be quite the nightmare.
Just 20 seconds into the second half, aggressive pressing from Real Madrid forced Corentin Tolisso to make a poor pass back to his goalkeeper from an awkward position. Ulreich subsequently rushed towards the ball intent on catching it, before he realised that handling a back-pass would be a foul.
What followed was an absurd attempt to fix a dangerous situation, as upon seeing an onrushing Karim Benzema at the same moment the aforementioned epiphany struck, Ulreich tried to clear the ball with his foot but slipped over the ball, allowing Benzema a clear opportunity in front of an open goal - one that Benzema, even in the worst of form, could've put away blindfolded.
Here's a look at what happened:
Bayern Munich's blunder eventually turned out to be Madrid's tie-winning moment, as it ultimately rendered James Rodriguez's second-half goal futile.
You must spare a thought for Sven Ulreich, though. Imagine what the poor sod is going through...
