Real Madrid 3-0 Levante: Player Ratings

Real Madrid 3-0 Levante

Levante

Ruben
Ruben failed to keep a clean sheet against Real Madrid

Ruben – 6/10

Ruben could do very little about the goals conceded but was at fault for his distribution of the ball. He registered a pass accuracy of 60% and did well to deny Kroos from the edge of the box.

Simao – 4/10

A poor display from the Mozambique international as he was responsible for two of the three goals conceded. He should have closed down Ronaldo to prevent him from passing to Marcelo and his mistake led to the first goal of the game.

He was easily beaten inside box by Jese as the Spaniard struck the third goal to put the game beyond Levante’s reach. Simao was very lucky not to give away a penalty as he brought Ronaldo down inside the box in the 16th minute.

Feddal – 5/10

The Moroccan was pulled out of position very easily as he struggled to keep pace with the movement of Madrid attackers. His foul on Ronaldo in the opening stages of the game deservedly earned him a booking.

Juanfran – 6/10

The Levante captain struggled to contain Ronaldo as the Portuguese forward regularly popped up behind the Les Granotes defence. Still, he was Levante’s best defender on the night and registered 4 clearances and 6 interceptions to his name.

Morales – 4/10

Morales had a night to forget as he failed to do anything of note in the whole game. He was dispossessed by Marcelo in the move leading up to Real’s first goal of the night and instead of locking down his flank, he spent a lot of time in Madrid’s half trying to get a cross into the box. His passing was way off the mark as well, with the Spaniard averaging a pass accuracy of 70%.

Casadesus – 5/10

He did very little of note in the whole game. His positioning was off and he failed to register a single shot in the whole game. He was also dispossessed easily and failed to add any creativity for Levante.

Jose Mari – 6/10

Mari was the best midfielder for Levante as he had a pass accuracy of 91% and attempted numerous successful long balls. He failed in his primary task of shielding the back for, but gave a promising account of himself.

Camarasa – 6/10

Camarasa saw plenty of the ball but failed to put his numerous touches to good use. He looked lively in the opening stages of the game, attempting to stifle the Real backline with his movement but his performances waned after the half hour mark.

Tono Garcia – 6/10

Garcia dealt quite well with the threat of Danilo, had 2 interceptions and 2 clearances in the match but failed to contain Ronaldo and company overall. He should have got into the box more to help out his fellow teammates.

Deyverson
Deyverson (C) was Levante’s best player on the pitch

Deyverson – 7/10

Deyverson was arguably Levante’s best player and was unlucky to see his glancing header on goal saved by Navas. The Brazilian was extremely lively throughout the game and posed the greatest threat to the Madrid backline. Deyverson suffered an injury and was replaced by Ruben Garcia late in the game.

Roger – 7/10

Roger got into numerous scoring positions and had the first chance of the game. He also threatened with a strike on goal in the 41st minute and was taken off for Nabil in a bid to shake up the attack.

Substitutes

Jefferson Lerma – 5/10

Lerma could not find his feet in 28 minutes of play and his only notable contribution was an attempt on goal from the half line which went well wide of goal.

Nabil Ghilas – 5/10

He did very little of note after coming on and was guilty of bad decision making.

Ruben Garcia - N/A

Ruben had very little time on the pitch to make a difference for Levante.
