Real Madrid might have completed the signing of Atletico Madrid starlet Theo Hernandez, but they will strike a real dagger into the heart of Los Colcheneros fans if they manage to sign Antoine Greizmann in the summer transfer window.

Griezmann’s future has been subject to intense speculation and while a move to the Premier League (Manchester United) looks most likely, the Frenchman has also previously said that he is open to playing for Atletico Madrid’s rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid should the opportunity present itself in the future.

With Atletico Madrid all but out of the Champions League, the Frenchman is desperate to add some trophies to his illustrious career. Reportedly frustrated at falling short of the trophy at the final hurdle on many occasions, Griezmann could well end up joining Madrid in a controversial transfer.

After all, if you can’t beat them just join them.
