Marco Asensio reportedly wants to join Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus

Ever since Cristiano Ronaldo's departure to Juventus, Marco Asensio has been among the few players expected to step into the Portuguese superstar's shoes as the club talisman. Alas, the Spaniard has seemingly struggled to find form.

Now, reports from Tuttosport (via Bleacher Report) claim that the 22-year-old desires to follow in Ronaldo's footsteps, but to Turin instead, by securing a move to Juventus.

He was reportedly "captivated" by the ovation Ronaldo received last season and has also heard wonderful things about Juventus from former teammate, Alvaro Morata.

Asensio also reportedly believes that Juventus manager, Massimilano Allegri, can take his game to the next level, as he did with players like Paul Pogba and Morata.
