Real Madrid reject Juventus' approach for Marcelo

Marcelo will be going nowhere, according to Real Madrid President, Florentino Perez

Following Cristiano Ronaldo's departure to Juventus, several rumours seem to suggest that his close friend and former Real Madrid teammate, Marcelo, was also keen on moving to Juventus.

Some reports even suggested that Juventus had already made an approach for the Brazilian full-back. However, according to latest reports from Calciomercato via Goal.com, Real Madrid President, Florentino Perez, views Marcelo as a crucial part of the team and has decided to retain him.

The reports claim that Madrid have told Marcelo's representatives, as well as Juventus, that the 30-year-old, who is contracted until 2020, will stay at Real Madrid next season.
