English goalkeeper Fraser Forster is a prized asset for Scottish side Celtic now as Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are looking to out-bid each other in order to get Forster’s signature, Mirror reports.
Forster has been sensational this season, and has already set a record for the highest number of clean sheets in the Scottish Premier League with 1,256 minutes without conceding a single goal.
Barcelona were heavily linked with Marc-André ter Stegen of Borussia Mönchengladbach with reports in Spain confirming Stegen’s move as official, yet there has been no response from the club yet who are supposedly still looking for a goalkeeper to replace outgoing Victor Valdes whose contract expires at the end of this season.
Forster still has two years left on his contract, but a bid from either of the two clubs in Spain will be too tempting for the 25-year old to turn down.
Real Madrid and Barcelona are not the only European clubs that are interested in Forster as it has been suggested that clubs such as Atletico de Madrid, AC Milan and Juventus are all believed to be lining up summer bids for the player.
