Inter Milan reject a chance to sign Mesut Ozil
The Nerazzurri have reportedly turned down the chance to sign Arsenal's playmaker, Mesut Ozil in January. Calciomercato has written that the German superstar was offered to a host of Italian clubs recently with Arsenal desperate to make some profits on him by offloading him in January.
Ozil has less than 12 months on his current deal and has not yet held talks over a new deal. But the rejection by all the top Italian clubs might prove to be a reality check for Ozil.
Antonio Candreva back on Chelsea's wish list
The 30-year-old Italian wing-back was linked with a move to Chelsea for the entirety of the summer but a deal for him never materialized. Calciomercato has now claimed that Candreva has rejected an extension offer from Inter Milan as he looks to start his career afresh.
Candreva has had a tough start to this season and was even booed off during Inter's last week win over Genoa. Meanwhile, Chelsea remain interested in the right wing back.
