#4 - Nacho Fernandez

It’s time to leave!

Nacho Fernandez might be the only fit central defender in Real Madrid's squad right now, but the board members believe he is not fit for the club. They want a better partner for Sergio Ramos, and Zidane has agreed to this.

Pepe's contract runs out at the end of the season while Varane has been injured a lot in recent times. Nacho has been doing a good job as a replacement, but the name isn't big enough for the Perez and board members.

Leonardo Bonucci is currently their #1 defensive target while a move for Borussia Dortmund's Sokratis Papastathopoulos is also on the cards. The other option they currently have is to bring back Jesus Vallejo from his loan spell at Eintracht Frankfurt when the season ends.
