Real Madrid fly to Milan for Champions League final

Madrid, May 27 (IANS) The entire Real Madrid football squad, including injured Raphael Varane, flew on Friday to Milan to play the Champions League final against Atletico Madrid on Saturday at the San Siro Stadium.

Actor Richard Gere shared the trip with the squad, as Gareth Bale revealed with a photo on his social media accounts, reports Efe.

Real chief coach Zinedine Zidane has summoned all his players, including Varane who is out of the final because of a thigh injury, while four more players are expected to be discarded before the final.

The team, led by president Florentino Perez, includes Keylor Navas, Kiko Casilla, Ruben Yanez, Dani Carvajal, Danilo, Arbeloa, Pepe, captain Sergio Ramos, Varane, Nacho Monreal, Marcelo, Casemiro, Toni Kroos, Casemiro, Luka Modric, Matio Kovacic, Isco, James Rodriguez, Lucas Vazquez, Gareth Bale, Jesse Rodriguez, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

They are scheduled to arrive at midday in Milan, where a bus will take them to the Radisson Blu hotel amid tight security.
