Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale will feature in the starting line-up for second leg semi-final match of the UEFA Champions League against Bayern Munich.
Despite suffering from a flu recently, the Welsh international completed his individual training schedule and will start at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday as confirmed by manager Carlo Ancelotti.
“We preferred that Bale trains on his own but now he’s better,” the Italian said.
Bale was rested for the weekend La Liga clash against Osasuna which Madrid comfortably won 4-0 courtesy of Cristiano Ronaldo’s brace, keeping them in touching distance of table leaders Atletico Madrid.
Real Madrid travel to Germany with a slender 1-0 lead over the Bavarians. Bale who wasn’t fully fit for the 1st leg at the Bernabeu came on as substitute in the 73rd minute as Real held on to their advantage.
With Ronaldo, Bale and Benzema available, Ancelotti will look to capitalise on the talents of his attacking trio of ‘BBC’ to get past Bayern and book their place in the final.
