Yaya Toure on his way to the MLS
According to the Daily Star, Yaya Toure is mulling over the option to join Manchester City's sister club, New York City in the MLS. Despite signing a one year deal with the Cityzens, Toure has made just two appearances this season and appears to be surplus to demands in Guardiola's regime - for the second time in his career. New York City are looking for a marquee signing after they are destined to lose Andrea Pirlo at the end of the season. Patrick Viera manages the Big Apple outfit.
Manchester City monitoring Mouctar Diakhaby
The Premier League giants are reportedly interested in signing the highly rated Lyon defender, Mouctar Diakhaby. City director of football Txiki Begiristain and co-assistant coach Mikel Arteta were present at Everton in Lyon's 2-1 win over the Toffees and have been impressed by what they have seen. The 20 year old has become a regular member of the Lyon side this season.
