Javier Hernandez, the 24-year-old Mexican striker who has scored 15 goals in 26 appearances for Manchester United, is growing increasingly frustrated with the fact that he isn’t getting starts in the big games for his team. With Alex Ferguson’s favouritism for Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney as United’s top strikers, the shadowed Javier’s plight doesn’t seem to be getting any better.
Real Madrid, on the other hand have, been monitoring Hernandez ever since his arrival at Old Trafford before the 2010 World Cup and are keen to use his emotional unrest and dissatisfaction to their advantage. The Spanish Champions’ boss believes Javier’s addition to the team, with his skill and finishing ability, will prove a great advantage for them on all fronts.
Although, like the time when Manchester had to increase Javier’s pay and extend his contract to keep him, Ferguson might encourage his leaving. But, the Premier League leaders have been on a look out for a new forward.
