Manchester City enter Leon Goretzka race
Pep Guardiola's Manchester City has joined a big line of top European clubs looking to sign Schalke's Leon Goretzka. A number of Premier League clubs are interested in the 22-year-old who is set to become a free agent in the summer.
He was reported to be Anfield bound as a direct replacement for his compatriot Emre Can but City's arrival may change the scene altogether. Goretzka's versatility to play as a defensive midfielder and also as a box to box midfielder has reportedly caught the City boss' attention.
Arsenal in talks with Borussia Dortmund's chief scout
ESPN can report that the Gunners are in advanced talks with Dortmund's chief scout - Sven Mislintat. It is Mislintat who is credited with bringing the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Ousmane Dembele among others to the Bundesliga side.
The 45-year-old is also on the radar of Bayern Munich who wants him as their technical director. But it is claimed that Arsenal are favourites to land Mislintat who joined Borussia Dortmund in 2009 and will now replace Arsenal's chief scout, Steve Rowley.
