#1 Modric and Ramos replacement eyed
The biggest stories of the day surround the two biggest players at the Bernabeu. At first, we shall start with the captain Sergio Ramos. It seems as though things have hit a dead end for Ramos and the Blancos if rumours are to be believed.
His case is being dubbed as the next Iker Casillas one. The former goalkeeper left Real Madrid in a highly unceremonious fashion as his relationship with the hierarchy got tainted a bit.
Florentino Perez, meanwhile, is on the lookout for a potential replacement as Don Balon claim that the Madrid supreme is looking at former player Diego Llorente as the successor of Ramos. The Spaniard would cost around €20 million.
Finally, Luka Modric is not getting any younger and Perez knows this. As a result, Madrid are also looking at midfielders to replace him and think that Tottenham’s Dele Alli suits the profile.
According to Don Balon, the Galacticos have lined up €80 million for him but Spurs want around €100 million for the Englishman.
