FC Barcelona contact Miralem Pjanic
Mundo Deportivo reports that FC Barcelona have contacted Miralem Pjanic over a summer move. Improving their midfield is now the club's priority after being left red-faced by Griezmann's rejection. Pjanic is Barcelona's no.1 target.
It is believed that Barcelona have scouted Pjanic since his AS Roma days and now want him to succeed Andres Iniesta. The creative midfielder is also interested in a move to La Liga and is valued at €70 million by the Bianconeri.
Manchester City close to striking a deal for Jorginho
A £46.4 million fee has reportedly been agreed between Manchester City and Napoli for the transfer of Jorginho, reports Sky Sports. The Italian midfielder has already agreed personal terms with City and is waiting for the remaining issues to be sorted before he boards a plane to Manchester.
Bonuses and payment schedules are yet to be agreed upon by the two sides. Jorginho is currently holidaying in Brazil.
