#2 Dani Carvajal
The Spanish right-back is probably one of the players who was not criticized even in such an abysmal campaign. Carvajal's impact on the right flank is unparalleled and the fact that he remains one of the most trusted players in the squad speak volumes of his calibre.
Odriozola was given a fair amount of chances but the right-back was unable to show the relentlessness on the overlaps and rigidity at the back. Carvajal's crossing abilities from the right flank remains a bonus for Los Blancos, who intend to keep Carvajal as their first choice right back in the upcoming season.
Arguably, the only thing which hindered Carvajal's impact is the inability of the right wingers in the squad. Gareth Bale, Lucas Vasquez and even Marco Asensio had a poor season by their standards and Carvajal's month-long injury made things worse for the team.
