Manchester United closing in on Fred and Toby Alderweireld
The Mirror has reported that United are confident of signing not one but two players before the World Cup. Jose Mourinho is keen on securing the services of Toby Alderweireld and Fred before June 14.
Fred is valued at £52 million whereas United hope to sign Alderweireld for £45 million. Spurs and United have initiated talks for the centre back but the Londoners are demanding at least £75 million for the 29-year-old.

After penning a new five-year deal at the club, Mauricio Pochettino is now set to start the work of upgrading his Spurs side. He is set to demand a war chest of £100 million this summer, the Daily Mail understands.
It is reported that Pochettino wants the likes of Wilfried Zaha, Anthony Martial and Ryan Sessegnon at White Hart Lane for the next season.
