#1 Eden Hazard

Belgium v Tunisia: Group G - 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia
Eden Hazard was phenomenal in the World Cup

At the moment, Eden Hazard looks to be the best possible solution for filling the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo. The Belgian superstar enjoyed a fantastic World Cup campaign as he led The Red Devils to semi-finals, registering 3 goals and a further 2 assists in the process.

Los Blancos were in close pursuit of the 27-year-old even before the commencement of the World Cup, and the momentous departure of Cristiano Ronaldo has only gone on to escalate that pursuit. As a result, Chelsea are having a hard time to hold on to their star player.

The former Lille player himself has also hinted at a potential exit from the Blues with some of his recent statements.

“After six wonderful years at Chelsea, it might be time to discover something different. I can decide if I want to stay or go, but Chelsea will make the final decision. If they let me out, you already know my favorite destination,” said Hazard, who has been on the record many times saying that Real Madrid is his favorite club.

Hence, this is a deal that seems certain to happen.
