Liverpool to confirm Nabil Fekir's signature tonight

According to James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo, the Reds will announce the arrival of Nabil Fekir from Lyon in a few hours. The Frenchman has passed his medical in Paris after Liverpool's medical staff flew down to the French capital to complete a move for the 24-year-old.

Fekir has signed for Liverpool for a fee of £53.8 million.

The 17-year-old Santos wonderkid is set to spark a transfer battle between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. Marca understands that Real Madrid have made their interest known to the player and the club and are looking to wrap up a deal for the teenager as soon as possible.
