Real Madrid cruised to a comfortable 4-1 win over Manchester City in Melbourne as Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Pepe and Denis Cheryshev all got on the scoresheet for Rafa Benitez's men. The win meant that the Spanish side secured the 2015 International Champions Cup.
The attendance in the stadium was 99,382 as City and Madrid went head to head in the International Champions Cup final. The only goal for City came from Yaya Toure who scored from the spot after Sergio Ramos handled the ball inside the box.
Toure was also involved in a collision with Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas, but the Ivorian continued to play on. This was the first win Real Madrid have recorded under Rafa Benitez who replaced Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti.
