Bayern Munich turned down a chance to sign numerous world-class talents in the past
German publication, Kicker has claimed that Bayern Munich turned down a chance to sign the likes of Leroy Sane, Sadio Mane, Gabriel Jesus and Naby Keita before these players were signed up by other clubs. The reason being told is that the Bavarians are refusing to enter into a bidding war for a player with the board feel that it causes the price of a player to plummet.
The latest example of this philosophy being seen in the case of Naby Keita as Bayern Munich refused to pay his release clause of £48 million which was set to be activated in 2018.
Kingsley Coman advised Presnel Kimpembe to stay put at PSG
Bayern Munich winger, Kingsley Coman advised his former France U-21 teammate to snub interest from Bundesliga teams and continue his progress at the Parc Des Princes. Speaking to Telefoot, Coman said about Kimpembe, "He is very happy at PSG. I hope for him that he will continue, that one day he will be captain and that he will spend his entire career at the club."
The young centre-back has also been linked with Liverpool in the past with Jurgen Klopp seeing Kimpembe as an alternative to his number one target, Virgil Van Dijk.
