Manchester United set to open contract talks with David De Gea
The Red Devils are not willing to take any risk concerning the future of David De Gea and are hence in the process of offering De Gea a new improved deal. The 26-year-old has a contract until 2019 but the new deal might see it being extended by a further two years. United hope that making De Gea sign a new deal will practically end Real Madrid's hopes of signing the custodian next summer.
Everton interested in not one but two Arsenal strikers
The Toffees lack an out and out goal scorer upfront after failing to replace Romelu Lukaku in the summer. Ronald Koeman is set to rectify those mistakes in January with Liverpool Echo claiming that Everton are looking to sign the Arsenal striking duo of Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck.
Giroud has been a long-term target for Everton whereas Welbeck's tussle with the Gunners over a new deal might help Koeman to lure him to Goodison Park.
