No more Barca signings
According to BarcaBlaugranes, Barcelona club President has told the media that they will not be doing any last minute transfer and are currently extremely happy with the squad they have. Barca has brought in Clement Lenglet, Arthur, Arturo Vidal and Malcom this summer.
Josep Maria Bartomeu: “As you all know, the transfer window shuts on the 31st August and we’re keeping an eye on the market, but there’s no immediate need to sign anyone.
“We’re satisfied with our business in this window, both with the arrivals and departures, and I want to thank the people who are often forgotten about: our CEO, Oscar Grau, the managing director, Pep Segura, our director of football Eric Abidal and his assistant, Ramon Planes.
Real Madrid to go for Rodrigo
According to Donbalon, Real Madrid is planning to bring in Rodrigo as a player who can compete in place for Karim Benzema.
Los Blancos are looking for a number nine and it seems like Rodrigo is the best fit for it. Real as already given a 70 million euros bid to Valencia but they rejected it asking for 90 million euros.
Valencia will be tempted to sell Rodrigo for 80 million euros or more. Since Lopetegui as already targeted him, he would most likely come to Real by the end of the transfer season.
