Rummenigge insists PSG have not made contact for Boateng
According to ESPN, Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has said that "there has been no contact" with Paris Saint Germain over the potential transfer of Jerome Boateng.
He said,
"There has been no contact with PSG. Neither has a fee or anything monetary been discussed."
"I know that Jerome's agents are in contact with Paris -- a final decision has yet to be made, though."
"At the moment there is no direct contact between the clubs. However, I think there is contact between his agents and PSG."
"Now, we have to wait and see whether, at the end of the day, we can find a basis on which we can agree on a transfer."
"We have to find a transfer fee that would be acceptable for both. In principle, we have enough players at this position, even if Jerome leaves."
PSG reject chance to sign Anthony Martial
Anthony Martial is out of favour at Manchester United and according to Get French Football News, the French forward who once again finds himself in the bad books of Jose Mourinho was offered to Paris Saint-Germain.
However, the Ligue 1 giants have rejected an opportunity to sign the 22-year-old for £71 million.
Jose Mourinho asked Thomas Tuchel and co. to pay as much as £71 million for Martial. But PSG are already under serious pressure to comply with the FFP regulations after completing their £166m move for Mbappe.
