Barcelona's top brass have identified Marcos Alonso as a top summer target. Goal has reported that the Catalans are looking for a long-term replacement for Gerard Pique who will turn 32 next year and have earmarked Marcos Alonso for the role.
Alonso has played as a centre back for Fiorentina before as Barcelona consider the Spaniard to have all the required qualities to succeed at the position. Alonso has a Chelsea contract until 2021 and will command a huge transfer fee.

Manchester Evening News have reported that the Red Devils have monitored Southampton's Cedric Soares this season and may make an official bid for the Portuguese right back soon.
