Gianluigi Donnarumma is a target for the Red Devils

A number of players are said to be embracing the exit door of Old Trafford this summer, with Spanish shot-stopper David de Gea also rumoured to be amongst the ones tipped to leave.

The 28-year-old has a year left on his contract and the Red Devils are yet to agree a new deal with him. Should he fail to commit his future to the club, Ed Woodward and co have already made a back-up plan to follow.

According to reports in Italy, Man United have contacted Gianluigi Donnarumma's agent, Mino Raiola, over the prospect of a potential transfer.

Raiola is already said to be in negotiations with United over a deal for talented Dutchman Matthijs de Ligt.

According to the report, the 20-year-old Italian goalkeeper would cost anything between £48.7m and £53.1m. Raiola has brokered some of the most notable deals with Manchester United in the past - Sergio Romero, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku to name a few.
