Juventus enter Virgil van Dijk race
The Bianconeri have spoken to Southampton regarding a move for the disgruntled Virgil van Dijk in January. The Dutchman submitted a transfer request this summer and tried every trick to get his desired move to Liverpool.
Though Southampton dug their heels to keep van Dijk in their books, it has resulted in an unhappy player being in the squad. Sunday Mirror claims that Juventus see van Dijk as a perfect replacement for Leonardo Bonucci and believe that the attraction of Champions League football may lure the defender to Turin.
AC Milan made a bid for Andrea Belotti in the summer
Torino's director of football, Gianluca Petrachi has revealed that AC Milan made a bid for €100 million rated Andrea Belotti in the summer. Petrachi said, "they (AC Milan) wanted to include him in a swap deal with Mbaye Niang (who eventually signed for Torino).
"It was not easy to sign Niang, it was a long negotiation and AC Milan wanted to include Belotti in a deal but their offer was not good enough.
"I told them that I wanted to keep the two negotiations separated.”
AC Milan had a dream summer window in which the Italian giants signed as many as 11 outfield players.
