Robert Lewandowski speaks against Bayern Munich's transfer model
In a sensational interview with Speigel Online, Robert Lewandowski has caused a storm in Bavaria with some of his frank answers. When asked about Bayern Munich's transfer business, Lewandowski said, "Bayern will have to come up with something and be creative if the club wants to keep bringing world-class players to Munich.
"And if you want to compete at the top, you have to have those kinds of quality players.
"To this day, Bayern Munich have never spent more than around €40 million for a player," he continued. "In international football that has long since been more of an average than a peak price."
Naby Keita can join Liverpool in January
In an interview with the Daily Star, Bundesliga expert Lee Price has revealed that Naby Keita has a chance to join the Reds in January on certain conditions. Price said, "there is a chance, depending on Leipzig’s domestic and Champions League progress, that Liverpool could pay a further premium to capture the midfielder in January.”
Keita was signed by the Reds in a £48 million move after a long drawn out summer saga that would see him join the Merseyside outfit next summer.
