Napoli president reveals Maurizio Sarri is off to Chelsea
Club president Aurelio De Laurentiis has revealed that Maurizio Sarri is off to Chelsea. Speaking at Carlo Ancelotti's unveiling, the Napoli supremo revealed that an agreement will be reached with the Blues in the next few hours.
He was quoted by Sky Sports as saying, "Sarri is close to being the new Chelsea manager. My lawyers are in talks with his lawyers to finalise everything".
De Laurentiis also revealed that Jorginho will be on his way to Chelsea, rejecting Manchester City along the way.
Chelsea closing in on Daniele Rugani
According to Mediaset Premium, Juventus and Chelsea have reached a consensus for the transfer of Daniele Rugani. With Cristiano Ronaldo now in Turin, Juventus are expected to offload a couple of players to balance the cheque books.
It is reported that Rugani was on Maurizio Sarri's radar who is all set to take over at Stamford Bridge. The duo worked together at Empoli in the 2013-14 season. A €40 million fee is reportedly agreed upon between both the clubs.
