Felipe Anderson not a good alternative
Former West Ham forward Dean Ashton has claimed that Felipe Anderson is not a good Eden Hazard alternative for Real Madrid. There have been claims that the Merengues are targeting the West Ham star should Zidane fail to sign Hazard.
However, Ashton doesn’t think Anderson is as good as Hazard, even though he has done well for the Hammers and could become a great player in another couple of years.
“I don’t think he’s that good. He’s done very well at West Ham, especially in the first half of the season.
“He's been OK in the second half, in which he hasn’t had the same number of goals and assists.
“If you’re comparing him to Hazard I don’t think there’s really any comparison.
“But, give it another year or two at West Ham, I think he could prove to be a top player. He’s showed that he’s got all the qualities to be.”
