Varane speaks out
Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane has opened up about rumours linking him away from the Santiago Bernabeu. The Frenchman has claimed that he is not unhappy at the Bernabeu as he is playing for the greatest club in the world.

He also added that he is challenging himself to be better as that is what is required to be at the Bernabeu.
‘To say that I am not happy at Real Madrid is not true,’ said Varane. ‘I’m at Real Madrid. The biggest club in the world.
‘I’m constantly in a state of challenging myself because the requirement here is that of the highest level.’
