Zidane on Bale
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has opened up about the situation surrounding Gareth Bale. The Frenchman stated that he is the one in charge of the daily activities of the club and, as a result, will have to make a decision regarding something that he believes doesn’t suit the club.
He also stated that while the Galacticos can’t forget the contributions of the Welshman over the last few years, it would be best for everyone to think about the present and the future before adding that he doesn’t know what will happen with Bale.
“I have to look at the day to day, and make decisions,” Zidane said.
“And when there is something I do not like, or does not fit for me, I must do what I think best.”
“It might be difficult for the player – we cannot forget all he has done here – but I must live in the present, think of the future. We will see [if Bale stays]. I don’t know what will happen, truthfully.”
