Lo Celso and Mario Hermoso
Giovanni Lo Celso has had good season with Real Betis. And when a player in the midtable of any league has a great season, he is bound to attract a lot of attention from Europe’s top clubs.
Marca had earlier linked Real Madrid, Manchester United and Tottenham with him but if this new report from BBC is to be believed, then the Lilywhites have made a €60 million bid for the Argentine.
Betis, however, want close to €100 million, which is the release clause of the player.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid could make a profit from one of their former players, thanks to the interest of Spurs’ eternal rivals Arsenal. Sport report that Arsenal, PSG and Bayern are interested in signing Mario Hermoso.
As a result, Madrid are looking to use the €7 million buy-back clause in the defender’s contract and then sell him for €20 million after that.
