#1 Edinson Cavani on Madrid’s radar
After another impressive domestic campaign and a pretty good World Cup with Uruguay, Edinson Cavani has caught the attention of Los Blancos it seems. According to reports from AS, Cavani is Madrid’s new choice of replacing the departed Cristiano Ronaldo.
Real Madrid have quite a bit of money to spend as Ronaldo’s departure has left them with €100 million. Cavani, though, won’t come cheap as he earns €12 million a year at Paris and has a contract till 2020.
Last season, the Uruguayan managed 28 league goals and his three strikes in the World Cup helped the South American side reach the quarterfinals where they eventually fell to France.
