Real Madrid set to sign Rodrigo Rodrigues

Real Madrid are close to completing the transfer of Brazil's wonderkid Rodrigo Rodrigues from Gremio Novorizontinoafter the player arrived in Madrid for his medical earlier today, reports Don Balon.

The news was further confirmed by Gremio's President Genilson da Rocha Santos, who said: "Rodrigo is in Madrid having a medical and, if there is nothing untoward, he'll sign with the club for six seasons.

"Rodrigo is a complete forward, who can play out wide or in the middle. He's very quick, explosive and he's developed a lot since he started here at Novorizontino at the age of 14."

Rodrigo will stay in Brazil until next year before joining the Castilla B side. According to reports, Rodrigo is expected to sign a 6-year deal with the Los Blancos.

The 17-year-old will be travelling to India to represent Brazil at the Under-17 FIFA World Cup where he will join another Real Madrid's wonderkid signing, Vinicius Junior.

Alexis Sanchez could yet seal his exit from Arsenal after Daily Star have linked the Chilean with a surprise move to Real Madrid in the January transfer window.

Despite not agreeing to sign a new contract, Arsenal decided to keep hold of Sanchez and have risked losing out on the player for free next summer.

However, Real Madrid are prepared to splash over £40million to bring Alexis to Bernabeu as early as in January.

According to Don Balon, Florentino Perez is not happy with club's start to the season and has given Zinedine Zidane 1-2 weeks to turn the results around or he will bring in new faces during the January transfer window.

Flamboyant playmaker, Isco has agreed a new contract with Real Madrid which will keep him at the club until 2022, reports AS and Marca.

Following the Neymar's transfer to PSG, Real Madrid wanted to avoid a similar fiasco and have inserted a huge €700m release clause to Isco's contract.

Isco has been in stunning form for both club and country in recent weeks scoring and assisting goals for fun which has put Gareth Bale's place in the starting XI under huge threat once Cristiano Ronaldo comes back from his 5-game ban next week.

Marcelo signs new contract with the club

Real Madrid have officially announced that left back Marcelo has followed Isco's path and signed a new contract which ties him to the club till 2022.
