James Rodriguez declares he wants out
Apart from Real Madrid’s 4-1 win over Sevilla last night, the biggest standout moment of the game was when James Rodriguez was substituted in the second half. The Colombian took almost a minute to get off the field and applauded all sections of the Santiago Bernabeu.
Sky Sports understands James has already made a decision to quit the club and last night being his last home game of the season, he was saying his final goodbyes to the fans. As per Daily Star, Manchester United already have an agreement with the player over a summer move, only thing remaining is to agree on the transfer fee, which is expected to be completed soon after the season ends.
Neymar is still on Perez’s wishlist
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is reportedly eying a big summer move for Barcelona superstar Neymar who still remains his “dream signing”, according to Diario Gol.
Neymar has been linked with a move to Premier League next season with Manchester United reportedly ready to meet his £173 million release-clause in his contract. However, Perez will make a more than hopeful move to bring the Brazilian as the ideal replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
It has been widely reported that Neymar was close to joining Real Madrid before Barcelona swooped in and signed the flamboyant attacker from Brazilian side Santos. Diario Gol claims Perez is yet to get over that transfer loss and is still dreaming of signing Neymar for Real Madrid.
Real Madrid poised to cancel Navas’ contract
Real Madrid have reportedly agreed to terminate Keylor Navas’ contract to make way for David De Gea, who has been rumoured to join the club next season. The report comes from Don Balon, who are convinced of Real Madrid’s decision to let go Navas on a free transfer next season and are eager to get him off their books.
According to the report, Real will pay up the final three years on his contract to ensure De Gea comes in as the clear number one goalkeeper at Bernabeu. After his recent heroics against Barcelona and Sevilla, Navas has made few public statements claiming he will not vacate the number one jersey for any keeper who joins the club next season.
Alli sparks rumours of a summer move
Dele Alli has refused to rule out a summer move from Tottenham amid a rumoured £80m bid from Real Madrid. The England international was previously linked with a move to Real Madrid in the summer which was quickly written off given his excellent season for Spurs.
However, after failing to win the Premier League yet again, Alli has opened the door for the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona to make a summer bid for his signature. According to The Sun, Alli was quoted saying “anything is possible” on being asked for a possible move away from the North London next season.
Spurs beat Manchester United 2-1 in their final game at White Hart Lane this season and will safely finish second in the league table after another successful season under Mauricio Pochettino.
