According to The Sun, Real Madrid are going to demand Javier Hernandez instead of Luis Nani in a cash-plus-player deal for Cristiano Ronaldo. Manchester United were rumoured to be tempting Real Madrid to accept an offer of £65 million plus Luis Nani for the Portuguese star.
There was also speculation of Ronaldo being linked with French giants Paris Saint-Germain, with reports suggesting that PSG have made a bid of £80 million for the 28-year-old.
The Premier League champions, who announced a record income of more than £92 million for the first three months of 2013, are one of the few clubs who can afford Ronaldo. Vice-chairman Ed Woodward had insisted that there won’t be any major changes in the squad this summer, but reports suggest that they might be tempted to a deal if Ronaldo is planning to exit his current club.
