San Sebastian, Oct 1 (IANS) Real Sociedad football club posted their second straight home win with a 1-0 triumph over Real Betis in a La Liga league encounter here.
On Friday, the hosts dominated possession in the first half in an apparent bid to make supporters forget their poor performance in last weekend's 2-0 away defeat to Eibar, reports Efe.
Betis took a conservative approach, but were quick to pounce on opportunities for counterattack.
Sociedad spent most of the second half in the visitors' territory, though they continued to suffer from a lack of finishing until the 63rd minute, when Carlos Vela scored off a perfect cross from Oyarzabal.
