Report: Arsenal to get either Suarez or Benzema in January

According to Independent, Real Madrid are willing to sell their out of form striker Karim Benzema to Arsenal for a cut-price in the January transfer window.

As per the report, the French striker who was bought for 30 million is now available for 20 million pounds in the transfer market. Karim Benzema is currently struggling for form in Real Madrid colors. He had just scored 2 goals in his last eight appearances for the Spanish club. Sunday Mirror reported that Real Madrid are already looking for a replacement for the French finisher. Liverpool star Luis Suarez is believed to be their top target.

So, Suarez to Real Madrid and Benzema to Arsenal looks like a good deal for both the sides.

While this news is going rounds in the internet, Metro reported that Arsenal are still in the race to sign Luis Suarez from the Anfield club. The Gunners have already made two bids for Suarez in the last transfer window, but their bids were instantly rejected by the Liverpool management who were adamant not to sell their star player to one of their local rivals. But, Arsenal are not ready to give up on their target yet. Reportedly, they are planning to make a bid again for the Uruguayan in the January window.
