In what may be worrying news for Juventus fans, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo will reportedly miss out three Serie A games in a precautionary effort to be fit for the Old Lady's Champions League quarter-final first leg clash against Ajax next month.

Ronaldo picked up a thigh injury during Portugal's 1-1 tie against Serbia in his national team's second Euro 2020 qualifier on Monday.
The 34-year-old has, however, insisted that he would be back in a week or two saying, "I'm not worried, I know my body. I should be back in one or two weeks."
An official statement from Juventus recently confirmed that the Portuguese would be undergoing a series of tests to establish a return date.
The statement reads, "Cristiano Ronaldo underwent tests in Portugal that revealed a minor injury to his right thigh flexors. He will be monitored and subjected to further tests to establish when he can return to competitive action."
The heart of the matter
Corriere della Sera (via Calciomercato) has now reported that the five-time Ballon d'Or winner will miss three Serie A games in a bid to overcome his injury. The games include fixtures with against Empoli, Cagliari and Milan. The former Real Madrid star is also reportedly due in Milan for more medical tests today.
Juventus currently sit at the summit of the Italian top flight and are getting ready for their Champions League quarter-final fixtures against Ajax next month.
What's next?
The number of games Ronaldo is set to miss will be confirmed after the prognosis is made clear following the medical tests.
The first leg of the much-awaited fixture between the Italian and Dutch giants is scheduled to take place on April 10.
