Manchester City have already signed Leroy Sané, according to SPORT. The German midfielder is considered to be one of European football’s hottest properties.
Gerard Romero, who’s reporting this deal, does have a very good reputation in Spain. He’s claimed that Manchester City have reached an agreement for the Schalke wonderkid. He also reports that the deal will be made official once the player returns from Euro 2016. Romero also suggests that many European clubs had wanted to sign Sané, but it was Pep Guardiola who influenced him the most. The move might come as a big blow to Manchester United who along with Real Madrid and Barcelona were also interested in signing him.
The fee agreed between Schalke 04 and Manchester City for Sane is said to be around £40 million. The 20-year-old midfielder is considered to one of the best prospects in football right now and has been in fine form ever since he was promoted to the first team in 2014.
Sane has scored 13 times for Schalke and made 55 appearances of which 8 goals came in 23 Bundesliga apps last season. Sane is a player who loves to dribble through the defence and also make cut-ins from the wings – a style Guardiola loves. He has three caps for Germany and is in Joachim Low's squad for Euro 2016.

Manchester City are looking to rebuild their aging squad and have been scouting a lot of youngsters in the last few months. Sane has been a target since January and has been finally captured now. Aymeric Laporte and John Stones are now said to be the next targets for Pep Guardiola. The Citizens have already signed Ilkay Gundogan from Borussia Dortmund.
Laporte recently signed a new contract at Athletic Bilbao and has a release clause of €70 million now. Bilbao are not a club who like to hold negotiations with clubs are will demand that Manchester City pay the whole release clause if they want to sign the young central defender. Adding to that, Laporte is also a target for Chelsea, Manchester United and PSG.
John Stones is labelled as the best young central defender in England and has Jose Mouirnho running behind him since last summer. It is very much clear that Jose will try to signing him again this summer but Ronald Koeman might not want to let go of the defender very easily. The prospect of building a team for the future is the main task for Koeman and he might want Stones to be a crucial part of the team. Pep Guardiola might have to look elsewhere to get his team sorted.
