What's the rumour?
The transfer window may have been shut for this year, but that doesn't mean we've heard the last of the rumours. We have a new one coming in from Italy and it's huge.
Turin's biggest sports daily, Tuttosport claims Paul Pogba wants to leave Manchester United and join former club Juventus in January where he would link up with the Portuguese superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo
In case you didn't know...
Pogba originally left Old Trafford in 2012 to join the Old lady and spent quite a successful stint of four years in Serie A before moving back to Manchester two summers back for a reported fee of €100 million.
But things haven't gone according to plan as the midfielder has struggled for consistency during his two seasons under Jose Mourinho.
And what's worse, his relationship with Mourinho has reportedly hit a nadir following a heated bust-up last season which led to his omission from the team.
The heart of the matter
The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford all through the summer, with Spanish club Barcelona rumoured to be the most interested in his services. Several reports in the Spanish press also reported that the player was keen on signing for the Blaugrana.
The aforementioned report, though, has claimed that is not the case and the World cup winning star has set his heart on a return to the Bianconeri. He wants to push through a move in January, his poor relationship being considered to be the driving force behind this decision.
Rumour rating/Probability: 4/10
Fans are advised to not outrightly believe this story as it seems unlikely that United would sell their prized asset midway through the season. Plus Tuttosport is not the most credible source in sports reporting. We're going with a 4 out of 10 for this one.

What's next?
Should the deal come through in January, Pogba would be able to play for the Italian club in the Champions League as UEFA have removed the ‘cup-tied’ rule from their competitions as of this season.
