Reports suggest that Xavi Hernandez has decided to leave Barcelona at the end of the current season to move to either Qatar or the United States of America.
The Spaniard’s contract is set to expire next summer, but according to Madrid-based publication Marca, he has decided to opt for playing less intense football in the final years of his career, which has led to his decision to leave the club at the end of the season.

It also says that Xavi has received an offer from a Qatari club whose identity is still unknown. The offer is reportedly worth €6 million net over three seasons and that his family is ready to move to the Arab country.
New York City FC are also said to be keen on signing the World Cup winner, and the player’s manager Ivan Corretja is said to be in continuous negotiations with the management of the club, Txiki Begiristain and Ferran Soriano who are former directors of Barcelona.
