Ronaldo registered his first Champions League hat-trick by scoring thrice in Madrid's 6-0 win over Ajax. Days later, Ronaldo became the first player to score in six consecutive El Clasico games when he bagged both goals in a 2-2 draw at the Camp Nou.

The Portugal star scored two milestone goals in Madrid's 3-0 Liga win over Malaga, the first of which brought up his 200th goal in club football and the second was his 150th in all competitions for the capital club.

Ronaldo's 12 goals in as many Champions League games represented his best season goal-haul in the competition and ended Lionel Messi's run of four consecutive seasons as the Champions League top-scorer.

However, Madrid fell to Borussia Dortmund in the semi-finals, exiting the competition at the last-four stage for a third-consecutive season.

The season ended with Ronaldo scoring at a rate of a goal every game for the first time in club football, en route to scoring 55 goals in as many games in all competitions.

Ronaldo collected a spate of individual landmarks during the season, coinciding with one of Real Madrid's most fruitful seasons in recent memory.

Scoring in all but one of 10 Champions League games he played in, Ronaldo's 17 goals marked the best season goal-haul in the competition. Ronaldo scored in the 4-1 win over Atletico Madrid in the final to end Madrid's near decade long wait for the 'La Decima'.

In the process, the Portuguese became the first player to score in Champions League finals for two different winning teams.

It was also the season which saw Ronaldo end Lionel Messi's 4-year stranglehold on the Ballon d'Or. With 31 Liga goals and three in the Copa del Rey, Ronaldo brought up 50 or more goals in a season for the fourth-consecutive season.

With 61 goals in 51 games in all competitions, 2014-15 marked Ronaldo's most prolific season in club football.

Ronaldo became the first player to score in 12 consecutive away games in the Champions League as defending champions Madrid departed in the semi-finals following a 2-3 aggregate defeat to Juventus. His 10 goals in the season meant that he shared the season-scoring charts in the competition with the Barcelona duo of Lionel Messi and Neymar.

The Portuguese scored his record-23rd Liga hat-trick against Celta Vigo as Ronaldo became the fastest player to score 200 Liga goals, reaching the landmark in just 178 games. Following success in the Club World Cup final, Ronaldo lifted consecutive Ballon d'Or awards for the first time in his career.

Ronaldo scored a staggering 48 Liga goals in the season as Madrid finished runner-up to Barcelona, as the Portugal captain won consecutive Pichichi (top-scorer in a Liga season) and a record fourth Golden Shoe award.

In his seventh season in Madrid colours, Ronaldo continued to break new ground. Scoring five goals in a game for the first time in his career, in a 6-0 win over Malaga, Ronaldo's Liga tally of 230 goals surpassed that of Madrid's previous Liga top-scorer Raul.

A goal in the 3-0 Liga win over Levante made Ronaldo (324) the all-time top-scorer for the capital club.

A hat-trick against Shakhtar Donetsk in the first game of the 2015-16 Champions League made Ronaldo the all-time top scorer in the competition. Five matchdays later, following a four-goal haul against Malmo, Ronaldo's 11 goals marked the first double-digit title haul by a player in the competition.

A four-goal Liga hat-trick against Celta Vigo took Ronaldo past 250 Liga goals and the highest all-time Liga scorer (252 goals) behind top-scorer Lionel Messi.

A hat-trick against Wolfsburg helped Madrid overturn a 2-0 first-leg quarter-final deficit en route to the semifinals as Ronaldo recorded his 16th goal in the competition.

Looking on course to break his own record of most goals in a Champions League season, Ronaldo failed to score in the semi-final win over Manchester City as well as in the final win over Atletico Madrid.

But the Portuguese's winning penalty helped Madrid bring up a 'La Undecima' of European Cup/Champions League titles.

With 35 Liga goals, Ronaldo brought up his sixth (consecutive) 50-goal season in Madrid colours.
