Poland striker Robert Lewandowski was officially confirmed as a Bayern Munich player today.
The polish completed a move from arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund for free after his contract with Die Schwarzgelben ended this summer.
Bayern Munich announced the news on their official twitter page.
Lewandowski had signed a five-year deal with the Bavarians on the back of an impressive season at Westfalenstadion where he scored 28 goals in 46 appearances for Borussia Dortmund in 2013-14 as Bayern Munich had confirmed his signing in January this year.
Lewandowski will wear the number 9 shirt previously worn by Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic.
