Manchester United‘s star striker Robin van Persie has designed his own pair of Adidas F50 shoes and flaunted them on his official Twitter account. He also wore them in United’s clash against Chelsea on Monday night.

According to Adidas, the F50 shoes designed by the Dutch international contained Sprintweb and Sprintframe stability technology.

The Sprintweb technology improves the player’s balance on his feet when he is twisting or turning at great speeds. The Sprintframe technology provides a thin layer to improve upon the player’s first touch and also to keep the overall weight of the boots down.

A new technology called the miCoach technology has also been inbuilt in it to provide the United staff and coaches data to track the striker’s sprint speed, acceleration and much more.

Even though he failed to find the back of the net in Monday’s clash against Chelsea, he still hopes he can get better out of the boots and defend his Golden Boot award yet again.
