Robin van Persie has claimed that he is feeling fresh ahead of the World Cup with The Netherlands. Robin van Persie had missed majority of the season with various injuries that pulled him back from playing and spent majority of the season on the sidelines.Speaking to The Guardian Robin van Persie says,
“I’m feeling good.
“Mentally I’m fresh. If you play a full season you can be a little tired at the end, but I’m fresh, the knee is fine as well so I’m looking forward to it.
“I’m 100 per cent , it’s just that I need a full game now.
“We have three friendlies to play and my last game against Southampton was 67 minutes so hopefully I can play a bit more.”
Robin van Persie was earlier found in Holland this season to regain his fitness and overcome the injuries that occurred to him in this season. Robin van Persie has played 21 games this season scoring 12 goals and having 3 assists to his name.
