Roma unveiled their first summer signing of the season on Monday in the form of ex-Barcelona midfielder Seydou Keita.
Keita signed a one-year deal with the Giallorossi after spending the second half of last season with Valencia.
Keita has been a wanderer of late after finishing his contract at the Camp Nou. The Mali international even spent one year in China playing for Dalian Aerbin.
After completing his move to Italy, Keita said;
“I've got a one-year contract, but I actually asked if I could focus on just one season. If things go well, both the club and I will be happy to extend my stay. A year is a long time - it's a daily battle over 9 months.”
